A superb Shelley "Moire Antique / Silk" Green trinket dish. C.1914.
Pattern No 8993?: All over pattern of fine lines. Printed in green, blown in green. Gold trim.
The trinket dish is very tactile due to the unusual finish.
The back stamp is the 1910-1916 green cartouche mark.
Dimensions: base 54mm (2.2 inches) / length 146mm (5.75 inches) / width 120mm (4.75 inches).Condition: In excellent clean condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, scratching or rubbing. Paintwork is in excellent order with no fading to the pattern. The dish has an excellent "ping" to it when lightly tapped.
